PhD Overview

This research has a significant interdisciplinary nature; it combines four of the most cutting-edge, scientifically attractive fields, Renewable Energy Systems (RES), Artificial Intelligence, and both Electrical Power and Control Systems, because the complexity of the energy problem in Sudan requires this intersection. It optimizes the integration of RES in the Sudanese power grid through Artificial Neural Networks, which is a powerful AI-driven technique able to process unseen and incomplete data swiftly and simply. It creates a machine learning system that dynamically optimizes RES energy with varying real-time conditions, taking into consideration the war impacts on the real-time database in Sudan.

Sustainability Goals

  • Affordable and Clean Energy
  • Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure
  • Responsible Consumption and Production
