PhD Overview

My research focuses on the study, design, and synthesis of nanomaterials tailored for various energy applications, mainly in hydrogen storage, transport, and synthesis. Specifically, we study different carbon-based materials doped with transition metal atoms through quantum simulations to evaluate their stability, properties, and efficiency, with the goal of optimizing their performance for these applications.

Sustainability Goals

  • Affordable and Clean Energy
  • Climate Action

About Me

Physics and Chemical engineer from the National Autonomous University of Honduras. In 2020, I received a Fundación Carolina Scholarship to pursue postgraduate studies at the University of Valladolid, Spain, joining the nanostructure physics group. Under the supervision of this group I am currently working on my PhD in physics.
